This guide shows you how to import lead data from Facebook Lead Ads into Airtable using the free Data Fetcher extension. Facebook Lead Ads capture prospect information directly within Facebook and Instagram without users leaving the platform. This integration automatically syncs those leads to Airtable where you can manage follow-ups, track conversion rates, and build automated workflows.
Prerequisites
- A Facebook Page with active Lead Ads campaigns and at least one Lead Generation form
- Admin access to the Facebook Page running Lead Ads
- Data Fetcher extension (free to install, paid plans for automation)
Getting Started
1. Install Data Fetcher from the Airtable extension marketplace.
2. Create your free account by entering your details or signing up with Google.
Connect Facebook Lead Ads to Airtable
Create Your Integration Request
1. On the Data Fetcher extension home screen, click Create your first request.
2. For Application, select Facebook Lead Ads to use the Facebook Lead Ads Airtable integration.
3. Under Authorization, select Continue with Facebook.
Authorize Facebook Account Access
1. In the new window that opens, select the Facebook account connected to your Facebook Page with Lead Ads.
2. Select the Pages you want to import Facebook leads into Airtable for.
3. Choose the Businesses you want Data Fetcher to access.
4. Grant Data Fetcher the permissions it needs to access your lead data by clicking Save.
5. On the final screen, click Got it.
6. For Endpoint, select Get leads from forms to import your lead data.
7. Give the request a name such as "Import FB Leads" and click Save & Continue.
Configure Your Facebook Leads Data Import
1. Select the Facebook Page that contains your Lead Ads forms.
2. For Forms, choose which Lead Generation forms to import leads from:
- Select specific forms to import leads from those forms only.
- Leave blank to import leads from all forms on your Facebook Page.
3. Select the Date range for your lead import:
- Choose from preset options like "Last 7 days" or "Last 30 days".
- Select "Custom" to specify exact start and end dates.
- For initial setup, consider importing "All time" to capture all historical leads.
4. Select the Output Table & View where you want to import your Facebook leads.
5. Click Save & Run.
Map Lead Fields to Airtable
1. Data Fetcher will connect to your Facebook Lead Ads account and the Response Field Mapping modal will open.
2. Data Fetcher automatically retrieves all available lead fields from your forms, which typically include:
- Lead ID (unique identifier for each lead)
- Lead Created Time (when the lead submitted the form)
- Email
- Full Name
- Any custom fields from your Lead Generation forms
You will also see the corresponding form fields next to each lead, like Form Name.
3. For each field, you can map data to a new field or to an existing field in your table. For example, map "Full Name" to the existing "Name" field. Click any field name to toggle whether it is selected or not.
4. Once you're happy with the field mapping for your Facebook leads, click Save & Run.
You'll now see all your Facebook Lead Ads data in your Airtable table. New fields will have been created automatically to store your lead information, ready for follow-up actions.
Set Up Automatic Facebook Lead Ads Airtable Integration
Currently, you need to manually click Run to import new leads from your Facebook Lead Ads forms. You can configure the Facebook Lead Ads Airtable integration to run automatically at regular intervals, ensuring new leads flow into your base immediately for faster follow-up.
This automation feature requires a paid Data Fetcher plan.
Upgrade Your Account
1. In Data Fetcher, scroll to Schedule and click Upgrade.
2. Choose a plan based on your needs and enter your payment details.
Set Up Automatic Scheduling
1. Return to Data Fetcher and under Schedule, click + Authorize.
2. A window will open to authorize Airtable bases. Select Add all resources to avoid future authorization issues.
3. Click Grant access.
4. Schedule this request will now be switched on in Data Fetcher.
5. Select a schedule for your Facebook Lead Ads Airtable integration.
6. Click Save, and your Facebook leads will automatically import into Airtable on your chosen schedule.
Prevent Duplicate Lead Records
To ensure each lead imports only once:
1. Navigate to Advanced settings in Data Fetcher.
2. For Update Based on Field(s), select Lead ID. This unique identifier ensures each lead creates only one record in Airtable, preventing duplicates even if the integration runs multiple times.
