This guide shows you how to import data from Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads into Airtable using the free Data Fetcher extension. You'll learn to pull advertising metrics like impressions, clicks, CPC, daily spend, and budget data from your Meta Ads accounts (both Facebook and Instagram) directly into your Airtable base.
Since Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads are managed through the same Meta Business platform, this single integration handles both advertising channels. Whether you run campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, or both platforms, you'll use the same connection to import all your Meta Ads data.
Prerequisites:
- A Meta Business account with active Facebook or Instagram ad campaigns
- Admin access to the Facebook Ads account you want to connect
- Data Fetcher extension (free to install, paid plans for automation)
Getting Started
1. Install Data Fetcher from the Airtable extension marketplace.
2. Create your free account by entering your details or signing up with Google.

You'll now see all your Meta Ads performance data in your Airtable table. New fields will have been created automatically to store your Facebook and Instagram advertising metrics.
Set Up Automatic Facebook and Instagram Ads Airtable Integration
Currently, you need to manually click Run to import updates from your Meta advertising campaigns. You can configure the Facebook & Instagram Ads Airtable integration to run automatically at regular intervals, keeping your ad performance data fresh without manual updates.
This automation feature requires a paid Data Fetcher plan.
Upgrade Your Account
1. In Data Fetcher, scroll to Schedule and click Upgrade.
2. Choose a plan based on your needs and enter your payment details.
Set Up Automatic Scheduling
1. Return to Data Fetcher and under Schedule, click + Authorize.

3. Click Grant access.
4. Schedule this request will now be switched on in Data Fetcher.
5. Select a schedule for your Meta Ads Airtable integration:
- Every hour for high-budget campaigns requiring close monitoring
- Every day for standard campaign tracking
- Every week for long-term performance analysis
6. Click Save, and your Facebook and Instagram Ads data will automatically import into Airtable on your chosen schedule.
Advanced Configuration: Prevent Duplicate Records
For optimal data syncing between Meta Ads and Airtable:
1. Navigate to Advanced settings in Data Fetcher.
2. For Update Based on Field(s), select the same field you used for "Split by" (e.g., if you split by Date, use Date as your update field). This ensures each record stays unique and updates properly when the Facebook & Instagram Ads Airtable integration runs.
Benefits of Connecting Facebook Ads to Airtable
With your Facebook and Instagram Ads data now flowing into Airtable, you can:
- Build unified marketing dashboards using Airtable Interfaces to visualize Meta Ads performance alongside other channels.
- Create automated alerts when campaigns exceed budget thresholds or CPC rises above targets.
- Generate client reports instantly with Airtable Interfaces that update automatically as new data syncs.
- Track creative performance over time with historical data that Meta Ads Manager doesn't retain.
- Calculate true ROI by connecting ad spend directly to your sales and revenue data.
Your Meta Airtable integration runs automatically on your chosen schedule, keeping performance metrics current without manual exports or copy-pasting data between platforms.
Additional Data: Import Budget and Spending Limits
The Facebook Ads Airtable integration also supports the Account budget & spend endpoint for importing:
- Daily and lifetime spending limits
- Account spending caps
- Budget utilization percentages
To access budget data, follow the same setup process but select Account budget & spend as your endpoint. This is particularly valuable for agencies managing multiple client budgets or teams monitoring spending caps across Facebook and Instagram Ads accounts.
Combining both endpoints gives you complete visibility into your Meta advertising performance and spending in one centralized Airtable base.
